Baja Fresh summer tacos!

I tried the new "summer tacos" at baja fresh. the ones i got were, grilled chicken ceaser taco, and grilled achiote chicken taco. my favorite from the two is the chicken ceaser taco, because i loved the creamy ceaser dressing and avocado on the chicken. the achiote one was good to but maybe to dry it only has chopped salsa and avocado, it need more of a sauce on it. I cant wait to go back and get the chicken ceaser tacos! i bet you can get the ceaser dressing on a salad!

Brooklyn in Lancaster

Brooklyn Deli has recently turned to my new favorite sandwich shop. I order the roast beef sandwich on rye bread. They pack the sandwich with this delicious roast beef one sandwich can feed two! They also give you a kosher pickle. That atmosphere is nice set up. I recommend this place, although I must say the prices are a little high.

Chick -fil- a

Chick-fil-a Valencia,CA I ordered the #4 Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe with fries and a drink. first of all the sandwich was soo good and had the right amount of spice, there wasn't any mayo on it which is good since I got a small packet to put in on my self, most places put to much on so I was glad I got to do it, the pickles on it are good, but maybe to thick, I like think cut pickles on my sandwiches, the bun was really good but fell apart. i also wish they have a spicy grilled chicken sandwich not just fried.the waffle cut fries were good but needed more salt, a little to bland. the service inside was very good, the lady came to my table to asked if I needed a refill, I have never been to a fast food place and been asked that. oh almost forgot, I got a oreo shake and it was yummmy the ice cream was so rich in flavor, I just wish it wasn't so runny. my overall rating is 3 1/2 stars out of 5, with potential of being 5. I do wish to see one come to Palmdale,CA!

Rattlers bbq

Rattler's Barbeque is my favorite place to order tri tip. This trip to Rattlers I tried what there known for of course the Tri Tip and I had the choice of choosing two sides or one trip to the salad bar and I picked the salad bar. For my second selection I got the santa fe tri tip sandwich which has sliced tri tip with sautéed peppers and onions and melted jack cheese on a french roll served with a side of au jus. For my two sides I got the fire fries and creamy mashed potatoes.

The tri tip was really good and the BBQ sauce they put on top is really good and not to sweet like some BBQ sauces. the portion of the tri tip is so big for such a good price. the salad bar has everything and they also have bananas chips which I love. they have the best garlic bread rolls with some kind of green herb its delicious!!!!!! The santa fe sandwich was good but i feel like the tri tip in it tasted more like roast beef, the au jus is nice and light. The sauteed peppers and onions were cooked very well. Fire fries are good its fries sprinkled with spicy spices, the creamy mashed potatoes are very creamy but lacked flavor, it needed more butter, salt and pepper. I'm upset that they only sell the mac n cheese in a big portion and wouldn't let me order as a side..

Cupcake wars..

Not only do I <3 food but i <3 sweets. I tried some cup cakes a Nadias cakes in Palmdale, CA and Double D cupcakes in Lancaster, CA. I thought Nadias cup cakes were to dry, and the frosting was very hard, they tasted old. I took a chance on getting a red velvet cup cake at double ds because I usually dont like red velvet, but i LOVED it, it was so moist the flavor was great and the frosting was creamy yummy. I definitely prefer Double Ds cupcakes!!!

Chronic Tacos

Chronic Taco has locations in parts of the United States but I tried the one in California. I recently sampled the some of the foods they had there, fatty steak, fatty chicken, and potato taco. I was surprised to see a potato taco on the menu since it’s not very common, but it’s a good idea for customers that may be vegetarian, the flavor was good with the cheese and guacamole on it. I didn’t like the flavor of the steak taco the meat was under flavored and was very dry kind of a stale taste to it. The chicken taco was my favorite, but yet just okay the flavor was the best of the three but still under flavored, it may needed to be marinated longer. I guess I can say it just doesn’t have the Mexican taco flavors. When they first opened I tried a chicken burrito and I didn’t like it at all, but I guess that’s what you get when ordering a burrito at a TACO shop. The workers are very friendly .Over all experience was okay, to be honest I probably wouldn’t go back.. Sorry : /

Soul Sistas Cafe, Lancaster, CA

Soul Sistas Cafe, Lancaster, CA. I was excited to try this new place because I heard some okay reviews. I went and sampled the smothered ribs, with bbq beans, mac n cheese, and corn bread, and i also got fried red snapper, black eyed peas and mac n cheese, and corn bread. the mac n cheese was dry, the bbq beans had a weird pepper taste, the smothered ribs were cold, meat wasn't cooked all the way and wasn't flavored well. the fried red snapper was pretty good, but I've had better. the black eyed beans were the worst i ever tried.. :/ the corn bread tasted old and broke apart when i put my fork in it, not moist at all. other then the food, the people are nice, but the location is not very good, needs remodeling, and there was a few things on the menu that they didn't have available. sad to say I wouldn't go again.
